I decided to leave social media a few weeks before the new year (2026).

There was no announcement or countdown; I simply left.

I closed my accounts and permanently deleted them.

I understand what this decision means. I have lost some connections, and to some, it might seem like I disappeared.

Today, most people don’t visit small personal websites. It takes effort to leave big platforms just to check a site that updates only occasionally.

However, my personal website is meant to be a true home for my work and writing.

A few people might still be interested, and some might continue following along.

That’s enough for me.

I actually prefer having fewer connections. Smaller circles feel more genuine to me.

Does that bother me? Not at all.

I’m doing this for myself and for a small group of people I know.

Just after the new year, I started building the content management system for my family’s websites, including this one. I wanted full control, a clean structure, and no dependence on platforms that might change. I used no frameworks at all.

I created my own themes and designs, building everything from scratch.

Now, I finally have everything set up so I can start creating actual content.

So I’m rebuilding my personal website now.

This will be the place for my posts, art, photos, and articles. It’s a true personal home for me from now on.

No clutter here with ads.
No misinformation.
No copycats.
No arguments.

Just my work, my words, and my projects.

It will take some time to move old content and create new pages. I’m doing it one page at a time.

This process is slower and more intentional. That’s how it will be from 2026 onward.
