Relationship (On the Easel)
Visual description
A yellow orange abstract painting sits on an easel against an orange wall, with brushes, water jars, and a small sculpture visible on the desk below. I painted the background for this one and then froze. It's still sitting on the easel right where I left it. I was getting ready to work on the mid and foreground, but I chickened out. It's too nice to risk painting over, so I'm not signing it yet. It's going away for a while until I get the courage to come back to it.
The plan is to paint something about me and Jolynn, together for so many years. Orange is me. Purple is Jolynn. She's always been the chaotic one. I'm the one trying to keep things tied together.
